1. Attachment of messages
You can now highlight and store important information at the top of Conversation for quick access.
The process of attaching messages is simple. Just open the message menu and click “Attach”. The attached message will appear in the attached messages panel, where you can go to it in the conversation history by simply clicking on it.
2. Quotation of messages
Stay in the context of the conversation with your customers using the new message quoting feature.
To use this feature, simply open the action menu with the message you want to quote and click Quote. Then enter the text of your message and send it. Your message will be accompanied by a quote from the original message, which will help keep the connection with the context of the conversation.
Also, you can easily go to the quoted message in the conversation history by clicking on it.
3.Copying a link to a message
Copy the message link and share it with other users. After clicking on the link, a page will open with the dialog in which this message was sent, and it will be displayed in the history.
4. Variables in messages
The ability to create dynamic messages that are automatically filled with the required information has been added. Template variables are placeholder values created using double curly tabs, such as {{variable}}. They make it easy to insert specific data, such as the name or contact details of a customer or agent.
Variables can be used not only in text messages, but also in Quick Replies and messages in Macros. Simply specify the required variable in a message or quick reply and NovaTalks will automatically fill it with the relevant data.
5. Filter Conversations with Mentions
In NovaTalks, you can now filter the conversations in which you have been mentioned. In the platform settings, you can set the option “Do not display conversations with mentions older than days”. This allows you to limit the display of conversations in which you have been mentioned and only show those that are older than the specified number of days.
6. Change the size of the panels on the Conversations tab
You can now resize the panels in the Conversations tab to suit your preferences and needs.
With the new functionality, you can easily resize panels by increasing or decreasing their width. This gives you complete control over the appearance and organization of your Conversations tab.
7. Added even more widget settings!
- Getting settings from the server:
Choose where to store your widget settings. If the “Get settings from server” option is enabled, your settings will be automatically updated by requesting the NovaTalks server. This is convenient because the settings changes will be applied automatically and you don’t need to manually update the code on your website. If the option is disabled, the settings are stored locally in the HTML page, and you control the updates yourself. - Setting the appearance of the widget:
You now have more options for customizing the look of the widget on your site. You can set its position, indents, and specify on which devices it should be displayed. In addition, you can choose how to place the messenger icons: horizontally↔️ or vertically↕️. These settings allow you to adapt the widget to your site.
